Summer Entertainment Series

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy is excited to present a fantastic line-up of musical acts, movies and art exhibitions as part of the Casinos of Winnipeg Summer Entertainment Series, running June through August at Assiniboine Park. The entire series is offered free to the public and made possible solely through sponsorship and donor support. This year’s schedule features more than 30 events including musical acts at the Lyric Theatre, jazz in the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, art exhibits in the WAG at the Pavilion, and returning for its seventh season – Movies in the Park.

International Yoga Day (NEW DATE - Tuesday, July 4)
Presented by LBS Yoga & Athletic Wear

Our International Yoga Day has been rescheduled. Please join us on Tuesday July 4 for a FREE evening class at 7 pm at the Lyric Theatre. Rain or shine, the event will go on! LBS Yoga & Athletic Wear will be on site with merchandise. Instructor Rebecca Watson will guide your one-hour practice. We will have smoothies and homemade granola bars available for purchase at the Lyric concession. Bring your mat and a friend! No registration required.

Ballet in the Park
Featuring Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet

July 26 - 28 | Showtime: 7:30 pm | Lyric Theatre

A tradition since the early 1970s, this free family–friendly event attracts more than 20,000 people annually, from Winnipeg and beyond. Sitting on a lawn chair or blanket on the grass, this is a relaxed way to take in ballet with your family and friends. For many who have never seen ballet, this is a great introduction to the art form in a picturesque setting.
